Creative and entrepreneurial, at the age of 17 Jacko was already running his own fashion design and manufacturing business but it was the dynamic sport of kickboxing that was to give him the gateway to the popularity and esteem he enjoys today. Jacko’s achievements have not gone unnoticed in the local community, where his recognition and respect has been used to good effect and garnered him many peer awards both sporting and community based.
With his creative side leading the charge, he successfully created a Combat Sport production business by producing a total of 220 1hr sporting episodes “Now is the time of night of COMBAT” for C5 and Sky Sports, overseeing the TV production, graphic design, retail business and talent mentoring himself. Currently Jacko is coaching a fighter who is destine to become a future World professional boxing champion and who will be promoted by Barry Hearn’s from Matchroom Promotions.
Despite his sporting success, an important part of Jacko’s DNA is his visceral love, appreciation and as yet latent, undiscovered talent for music. There are many clichés around the ‘sporting mentality’ and “things touched turn to gold” but when it comes to Jacko, as the band will be known, these terms should be used with positive caution. Deciding that music would be the next chapter in his life he has been busy writing his own material, building a music and rehearsal studio (which will be used to help up and coming acts in the future), conceptualising and storyboarding his first single/video release starring xxxx xxxx and that’s just the start!
Realising that this ambition is a global endeavor and a platform for his love of music and performing, albeit on a very different stage, Jacko will be the first of his kind (British Asian) to be producing “Rock” music with style. Jacko’s determination, vision and talent will ensure this next chapter will see him continue to inspire and succeed – unconditionally.
